The 9th Annual CF Shad & Crappie Derby is over ! Once again well over 1000 anglers registered and fished this 4 month long “FREE” catch / photo / release tournament for the longest Shad or Crappie. Thanks to all other the anglers for telling their friends and helping this great community event grow each year. Special thanks as well to our returning sponsors, it is because of them and their support that we can continue hosting this event each season!
We have had lots of great entries this season including over a dozen 15” plus Crappie entries, qualifying these anglers a special Certificate and small prizes. This season also included our first Back-to-back “Big Fish of the Month” with angler James Hazelton taking those honors. All of this season’s winners will be posted on the web-site and contacted upon final review of this season’s many entries.

This season’s awards ceremony will be hosted at Jolly Gator Fish Camp & Grill on Thursday March 15th at 6pm, located east of Geneva on SR 46 in lieu of Gander Mountain as in the years past.
