Southern Pacific Costa Rica Diving Forecast February and March 2016

Southern Pacific Costa Rica Diving
Caño Island is a biological reserve that is located just 10 miles offshore from the Osa Peninsula.

The Southern Pacific coast is at its best this time of year. With long sunny days and calm waters it is at the optimal conditions for diving. Around the Manuel Antonio Park we have been spotting some turtles out and about around the local volcanic reefs as well as our usual reef residents of Butterfly, puffer fish and many more. Ray season is here as well so we have had some great spots of eagle and devil rays around the area. Caño island has been kicking off as well with some big schools of devil and eagle rays being spotted. The resident white tip sharks have been spending most days lounging around the sand patches where you can catch up with them and grab a good photo if you keep pretty still! Our divemaster and instructor interns have been busy with all of the activity in the water, running their REEF check programs and surveys, an important part of our ocean conservation efforts.  Come join us and check out some of the work we do to help our oceans.
