Stuart Flyrodders held its Top Fly 2012 Outing on November 10th. Anglers battled high winds and the lingering effects of the hurricane tides and poor water to find trout, snook and redfish in this fly only tournament. The event culminated with an awards dinner held at Conchy Joe’s Seafood in Jensen Beach. Anglers accumulated 1 point for trout, 3 points for snook and 6 points for redfish.
1ST PLACE– Matt Bohn – 13 points – 1 trout, 2 snook and 1 redfish -including the largest trout of the event at 29 inches
2ND PLACE– Jim Harter – 11 points – 8 trout and 1 snook
3RD PLACE– Giles Murphy – 6 points – 2 snook
