With a cold start to the morning and a relentless wind topping over 25mph at times, 40 boats braved rough conditions on Lake Istokpoga for the day’s tournament. Fishing in the conditions was tough and many teams didn’t venture far out into the lake so they concentrated on the north end of the lake. The team of Brian Reeves and James Dyer took 1st Place weighing
in a 5-fish limit of 20.00-lbs. Coming in 2nd Place was the team of Brian Harvey and Rick Kyzer with weigh-in of 18.38-lbs and the team of Victor Cruz and Michael Bauer came in 3rd with a weight of 17.46-lbs. The Big Bass of the day went to James Pearson with a Trophy Catch 9.55-lbs female that looked like she was in a post spawn condition.
Next Tournament will be March 6th on the Harris Chain. Launch is at the Hickory Point Recreational Facility.
