LagoonFest celebrates one of the most picturesque waterways and urban estuaries in The Palm Beaches, the Lake Worth Lagoon. Come enjoy this FREE event on November 6, 2021, to discover what makes this lagoon such a fantastic place to visit and a local treasure. More than five thousand people gather annually along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach during LagoonFest. The free event is made possible by community partners, Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management, Discover The Palm Beaches, Lake Worth Lagoon Initiative, and the City of West Palm Beach.
LagoonFest boasts dozens of free and educational activities including wildlife presentations, live touch tanks, live art exhibits, kayak clean-up tours, free boat tours, sailing excursion lessons, catamaran tours, interactive educational displays by more than 80 exhibitor booths, and more. Attendees can also pick up a free 2021 Lake Worth Lagoon calendar while attending the event.
LagoonFest is adjacent to the West Palm Beach Greenmarket and is a family-friendly event where visitors can learn more about Palm Beach County’s largest estuary, a 20 mile long waterway running from North Palm Beach to Ocean Ridge.
