[dropcap]O[/dropcap]ur Treasure Coast Casters February Senior Division Tournament, was held February 1, and what can I say but only the weather man can be wrong all the time and still be paid big money. The wind wasn’t too bad until the last hour of the tournament.

Ten different species were on the fish list, with snook worth 50 points. Not one snook was caught, but here’s what was weighed in—new Treasure Coast Casters member Ryan Wells caught a nice trout and two sheepshead; Andrew Evans caught a mangrove snapper; Colton Hester caught two sheepshead; and Savannah Ward brought in two black drum, with one weighing in a 5.01-pounds.

Savannah and Colton tied in points. When this happens, the angler with the heaviest fish takes the next place. Savannah’s 5.01-pound black drum took the Biggest Fish slot.

Andrew, the first place winner in the Middle School Division, and Ryan, the first place winner in the High School Division, each received a price bag, trophy and a $25 gift card to the Fishing Center. Savannah also received a gift card to the Fishing Center, which was donated by volunteers Pat and Gwen.

We would like to welcome Taguee Walker and Ryan Wells to our group.

A big thank you to Wade and Beth Yarborough for donating the items in the prize bags, and a warm welcome to new Treasure Coast Casters Taguee Walker and Ryan Wells.

See you in March!
