Fishing on Mother’s Day is tough in many aspects, most notably in angler turn-out. Seems the fish in Lake Placid were thinking the same since the bite was slow. Most likely it was a weather factor since two low pressure fronts moved through the area just prior to Sunday’s event. First Place was taken by Mikey Balzz & Arianna Pionzio with 16.5-lbs and second place was taken by Charlie Peck & Anthony Machado with 14.9 lbs. The next tournament will be on May 22nd at Lake Istokpoga. In June the event dates are June 5th at Lake Josephine and June 19th at Lake Istokpoga. The Workhorse Team Tournament Trail fishes some of central Florida’s lesser known but quality fishing lakes.
Next Tournament will be May 22nd Lake Istokpoga. June’s tournaments are June 5th on Lake Josephine and June 19th on Lake Istokpoga.
