With the days getting shorter and the water getting cooler, it is a seasonal transition month anglers look forward to. Cooler water means bigger fish and that is a good t’ing! You can now fish throughout the day, not just early morning and late afternoon as the average daytime temperatures are cooler. As is the case at this time of year, the fish will be getting larger and will be in smaller schools. Also, should your bucket list include a Bimini permit or tarpon, we can help make your dreams come true. Permit will be running in the 25-to-35-pound range on average. Tarpon—well let’s just say that you should have no problem finding 100-pound-plus fish! Always fish moving water along channels and creeks with the changing tides.
