North Eleuthera Inshore Fishing Forecast – April 2011

Jermaine Kemp releasing a bonefish.

April is awesome for inshore fishing in Eleuthera. With large single and double bones roaming the flats, this is a fisherman’s paradise. In North Eleuthera, we are still seeing large schools of fish. The water temperature is still a bit cool so these fish are hunting right along the shore line. We are catching the majority of fish on spawning shrimp or a mantis shrimp patterns. As a professional guide wanting to make the trip as rewarding as possible, my advice to all anglers is to pay close attention to your guide’s instructions and let him walk you through the experience from the cast to the hookup. Professional guides want to help you improve your flats fishing skills and are more than willing to share their knowledge.
