Svengali, a 49’ Spencer owned by Marshall Leeds of Boca Raton, Florida, easily won the 3rd Leg of the 2011-2012 Bahamas Wahoo Championship, as well as the overall Champion of Champions Trophy of the series. Captained by Captain Rick Redeker and crew member Mike Ritzler, Svengali put on quite a show on the third day of fishing by bringing the legal limit of 18 wahoo to the weigh-in station for a combined weight total of 550 pounds. Only the heaviest two fish counted in the scoring system, a 55.5 pound wahoo (heaviest fish of the tournament and championship series) and a 42 pound wahoo.
Second place in the tournament and overall Championship series went to Dan Riggs, owner of Bahamas based Llangus.
