The morning started off with 40 anglers heading to their favorite fishing spot to start filling up their live wells. With our summer heat and evening rains it shows to have moved some of the angler’s fish. But from today’s results and two back to back wins, Team Brian DeVito and Richard Gillespie came to the scales with a 27.11 lb. sack along with a 7.58 toad. So it looks like they have found a winning summer pattern. The team of Blake Williams and John Atkinson came in with 20.21 lbs for a 2nd place finish. Third and Fourth Places tied with weights of 19.90 to the team of Brad Day and Cody Craig and the team of Tom McGinnis and John Wood. Things are heating up as the battle for Division Points Leader remains tight with three teams within 4 points of the present lead team of Brad Day and Cody Craig who have 483 points overall. Better bring your A game to the Aug. 7th event. Thank you for all the teams that continue to support the Istokpoga Division.
Next Tournament will be August 7th on Lake Istokpoga.
