[dropcap]I[/dropcap]f you’ve been waiting for a good time to come to Exuma, well this month is the one to make a move. If you’re looking to catch blue marlin, mahi, tuna and a shot at the last wahoo, then get out there. Schools of small tuna should be fairly easy to find with a good radar or just run for a few minutes and look for some birds. Run some teasers with your big lures close to the boat and your smaller baits longer for the mahi and tuna. Mahi will run up to 50 pounds and the tuna about 30 pounds, with an occasional larger yellowfin. Cedar plugs will work great. Even marlin have been taken on cedar. Reef fishing will be excellent and deep dropping will continue to be strong as usual.
