The huge debate of Jigging Fisherman is using the Assist Line with or without Fluor Core. So let`s clarify the needs and you`ll be able to decide what`s better for you.
Fluor Core is more firm and supple and increases the overall stiffness of the braid minimizing tangly and improving great penetration. It`ll avoid tangling up with the leader
The Assist line without the fluor core is cheaper and softer and easier for the fish to swallow it and for you to hook up better.
I used to use the Fluor Core Assist Line in the top and the regular one in the bottom. Doing like that you`ll spend less money and will avoid the tangling up with the leader.
