Lake Sinclair Bass Fishing Report: Nov 2013

by Capt. Matt Henry

The main lake is slightly stained and the water temperature is 75 degrees. Bass fishing is good. Fish can be caught all over the lake in shallow water. The shad have started moving into the creeks and the bass are following. Shad imitating baits are best. White spinner baits, crank baits, and super flukes will all catch fish right now. Flat sided crank baits are best on creek points and flats. The spinnerbait and flukes are best around grass and wood cover. Mid-day when the reaction bite slows down, throw a Buckeye Spot Remover with a green pumpkin trick worm around docks and brush piles. The best area has been from Rooty Creek up to Crooked Creek.

I have a few guide trips available after October 20th. Give me a call 770-361-4210 (cell) or 478- 451-0167 (Sinclair Marina) if you are looking to get in on some fun fishing.
