Spring has arrived, and with it, the longer hours of daylight. Seas are calm, visibility is excellent and the water temperature is on the rise. March is typically the month many people decide they may want to learn how to scuba dive. The Discover Scuba Diving course is an excellent opportunity to try scuba diving to see if it is for you. It only takes a half a day to be introduced to the basic rules and principles of diving, test out some gear and some practical applications in the pool, and head out to a shallow dive site to enjoy your first scuba dive. If you like it, you can upgrade directly to your open water course. By the end of your week-long vacation, you will be a certified Open Water Diver.
If it has been a while since you have been diving, DSD is the course you want to join for a refresher of your skills. Grand Bahama Island, and all of the Islands of the Bahamas, offer superb diving opportunities, so to have the best Bahamian vacation possible, learn to scuba dive and enjoy all the Bahamas has to offer above and below the sea.
