All is good on Grand Bahama Island, hurricane season is nearly over and we can report we have been particularly fortunate without any storms coming our way. Water temperature is in the low 80s; sunny and calm days are on the forecast. Visibility has been at its best and we expect it to continue to privilege us with 80 feet plus, as it has been doing all summer. Crystal clear blue water creates the right environment for dramatic pictures and the sun can be seen dancing on the pristine white sand as deep as 50 feet, mingling with the shadows cast on the sand by lazy sharks swimming around. If you come diving with us during this time of the year, you will find on the boat some of our younger and talented Bahamians. They are the future scuba professionals in training, learning to protect the local resources through renewable resources, rather than direct exploitation. This year we mark the 25th year of this complimentary program for the public school on Grand Bahama and we are very proud of having numerous of these ex-students marking their tenth year of work with us.
