[dropcap]A[/dropcap]s part of its ongoing Community Goodwill program, management at the Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina is assisting a local high school student attend a study abroad program in Costa Rica this summer.
General Manager Dafna Ronis presented 16-year-old Jaquan Brennan with a $1,000 check that will help with expenses allowing Jaquan to attend an intensive Spanish language program at the Escuela de Lenguas y Experiencias in Heridia, Costa Rica.
The Language Study Aboard Program (LSAP) is a Bahamas based organization that specializes in offering two and four week foreign language study abroad programs for local students.
Jaquan will attend the program from July 11th to July 26th, 2015. He attends the Louise McDonald High School where he was honored for scoring the highest grade point average in tenth grade. He also happens to be the son of Marci Ellis, a respected and longtime employee of the Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina.
The Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina has previously made scholarship donations to the local elementary and high schools as well as a student needing corrective eye surgery.
