CK Paddling – June Report

Hey everybody! I cannot believe how fast this year is flying by.  I hope everyone is ready for these kids to get out of school, and ready to get them off their phones, and out on the water.  There should be all types of species of fun fish to catch around Cedar Key.  This is a great time of year to target reds and some fun Jack’s with top water action.  Haddon Super Spook Jrs. in Bona and Bone/Silver do really well here.  Stop by the shop or pick one up at your favorite bait shop.  Live pin fish is another great bait this time of year for your target predator fish, including the occasional cobia we have around.  Other than that, watch those skies this time of year.  If you see it coming, get your butt to safe land, to avoid making the local news in a bad way.  Have a great summer, and I hope to see you at the shop or on the water, and take these kids fishing!
