Ok, so here we go again! The birds should have now arrived and that means only one thing. So have the tuna! A combination of skippys and bonita will be mixed in with fair sized black fin.

Being patient and picking out the right school, you can find the prized yellowfin tuna to make a great dinner treat. This is where the well-tuned radar comes into play. Knowing how to dial in your radar will be key! Large schools of mahi will also be on the prowl in Exuma Sound as well. Fishing should be strong from Highborne Cay to Great Exuma this month. Cedar plugs of assorted colors will work fine and slow trolled skipping ballyhoo with green and yellow, and blue and white feathers, or small islander style, will be what’s in my spread.

Deep dropping will also be strong anywhere from 400 feet and down should put you on some nice yellow eye and queen snapper on the deeper side of the spectrum to 1600 feet.

Mind the park boundary as there are patrols to protect our fragile ocean park! Tight lines.
