[dropcap]N[/dropcap]ovember is here already but there is still a lot of fishing time left in this year and the fall season is just a great time for fishing and catching. Moving out of summer in to fall, the water temperature is not to hot and not to cold, just right, so there are many happy fish and happy fish would make a happy fisherman and a happy fisherman makes a happier guide!
Here in Grand Bahama there is great fishing. The bonefish are moving high up on the flats and we are beginning to see lots of tailing fish. For those of you who love to wade fish, this is your time. The joy of seeing a huge bonefish in inches of water with all its back out can give you bone fever. I have been fishing and guiding for some years now, but that kind of sight still puts a shaking in my bones, and I feel like when that feeling of nervousness from a fisherman is gone on the sight of seeing a great fish or hooking onto a huge fish, it is time to put up the rods and take up some other sport like taking out the trash, mowing the grass or doing crossword puzzles.
There so many fish to fish for and so many different ways to fish—fly fishing, spin, hand line—all is fun and the fun never stops here in Grand Bahama. If I was a betting man, I would bet you would have fun on the water here in Grand Bahama and that you would not be disappointed!
