[dropcap]S[/dropcap]corcher days with afternoon showers describe August conditions in Grand Bahama. Tuna and mahi-mahi are the fish du jour. Troll first thing in the morning, bottom fish mid-day and troll again late afternoon.

Yellowfin can usually be found south of West in the Tuna Canyon area. There have been some nice big hookups reported using Penn 760 spinner reels. Find the birds, get in front of them, and chum the fins up to the boat. Canned tuna fish is a great one to use as chum.

For mahi-mahi, look for weed lines and birds. Natural or artificial baits will work.
Watch the weather, keep an eye to sky, and keep safe while you’ll out there.

Tight lines!
