The wahoo have been hot in February; we have been pulling in 30 to 65 pound fish. We still are finding most of our wahoo north of Memory Rock, and the dolphin are also doing just as well; they have been mostly south of Memory Rock. We have slowed down our troll to 8 to10 knots, and we’re pulling double-hooked rigged horse ballyhoo, with blue/black and green/orange skirts. Trolling from Wood Cay north up to The Corner has made a great day of wahoo and dolphin fishing. In the afternoon, the deep dropping has not been too bad, as you can see from Mr. Barker and his crew on the Alexis, with a nice catch of yellow eye snapper weighing up to 20 pounds. March should be just as great, with less wahoo and more dolphin.
