INGREDIENTS
- 4 wahoo steaks
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Cayenne pepper (amount to taste)
- 1 pinch of crushed chili pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
DIRECTIONS
- Make the marinade by mixing together in a bowl the olive oil, lemon juice, lime juice, cayenne pepper, and chili flakes.
- Rinse and pat dry the wahoo steaks and place in the marinade.
- Cover the marinating fish and place in in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Heat a griddle pan to medium heat, transfer wahoo to the pan, adding salt and pepper to the fish steaks to your taste. Or place over a grill.
- Flip the wahoo several times to ensure even cooking, adding garlic about halfway through the cook time. The steaks should take about 10 to 12 minutes’ total.
