Inshore Fishing Seminar

HALIFAX-SPORT-FISHING

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Halifax Sport Fishing Club’s seminar for August 14th is on how to fish inshore artificial baits and is given by Capt. Brad Kayholm. Capt. Brad has fished his whole life. He played baseball in college and after college came to Daytona from Michigan to go to the Harry Wendelstedt school for umpires. He worked professional baseball for two years and after an injury he went back to fishing and working on boats. After he and his Father, Rick Kayholm, started Grandslam Baits he knew that he wanted to fish for a living. He got a captains license and began guiding on the beautiful Mosquito Lagoon and surrounding areas. He has even done a few trips to Palm Coast. Fishing is his life and he lives his dream by fishing with his dad who is his best friend. When Capt. Brad fishes with clients they throw artificial baits most of the time. He feels it’s better to catch fish with clients on artificials rather than throwing out some meat and waiting. He will address fishing artificial baits, how to rig them, and what he looks for when he is on the water.
