caught this 50lbs King Salmon in Ketchikan Alaska.
I got stationed with the Coast Guard in Ketchikan Alaska as my first unit. Testing the waters for fishing this was the first salmon I had ever caught (I’m originally from Florida). It took me about 40 mins to reel it in and one of the best fights I’ve ever had! Fishing alone I had no one to take the photo so I made a video and screen shot this picture because no one would have believed me back home on how big it was!
