Lake Guntersville Forecast: Sept 2013

[dropcap]B[/dropcap]oth the size and quantity of bass remain good. The frog/rat action is getting better each day. Over the past few weeks, we have found our fish in 2 to 24 feet of water on a selection of baits like SPRO Little John DD crankbaits, Bronze Eye frogs, Tightline football-head jigs with Missile Baits trailers, single swimbaits and Missile Baits D-Bombs. Our best results come around the mid-lake flats with grass and ledges.

September marks the start of the best frog/rat-bite action, along with a great spinnerbait and buzzbait bite around the grass flats. Water temperatures have started to fall and currently range between 75 and 83 degrees.
