From The Publisher – Nov. 2018

Dealing with hurricanes is something that all Floridians are familiar with. However, I’m not sure that anyone understands how severely Hurricane Michael has affected the folks that live in the Panhandle. Many people’s homes are gone. Many businesses are gone. The people of the Panhandle need help and they need it now.

It will be a very long time before life returns to some semblance of normalcy. It will likely be months or longer before our Panama City and Forgotten Coast franchisee, Capt. Randy “C-Note” Cnota will be able to publish a magazine and who knows when he will be able to resume running fishing charters. Over the last few years, Randy and I have become quite close and I feel obligated to make an effort to help him and his community as I’m certain that he would do the same for us.

Within the next week, we will be making a relief run to the Panama City area with whatever supplies we are able to obtain through donations and we have set up a Go Fund Me campaign to raise money to buy items like generators and chain saws. If you would like to donate, please visit www.gofundme.com/aidforpanamacity.

Keep reelin,
