The New Year is here! December is over, the presents unwrapped and Boxing Day is history for another year and the fishing in Nassau is still fantastic. Fishing has been outstanding so far. December is just the start of the winter season and January will be truly one of the best fishing months of the year. The regular clients that know how great the bonefishing is are flocking back to Nassau and the Bahamas. There are a lot of new anglers booking trips as well. They must be reading my forecasts! Even though December has come and gone, don’t worry, if you still want to do some bonefishing you’ve got time. It can be somewhat windy during January when the fronts pass, so practice your casting. Live baits and some of my secret flies will be catching you some fish. You and your family can enjoy all for the excitement Nassau has to offer and world-class flats fishing besides. Bonefish, permit, snapper, barracuda and more are waiting for you. Happy New Year Bahamas!
