Some people say that there are no bonefish in Nassau. Well, if there are no bonefish in Nassau, there are no bonefish in Andros or the Berry Islands either. The truth is that Nassau has less spots that are not “fished out”. Here in Nassau, we have never had a client who did not catch a bonefish. Hundreds of people come to the Bahamas for some “catching”. You only need to cast 25 feet to catch fish on the flat. We have plenty of fishing supplies and I recommend Harbourside Marine for your fly fishing needs.

In July, the heat is on and crabs are all over our Nassau flats. Bonefish love crabs, so crab flies will certainly be the hot deal. The north side of Nassau, close to the ocean, has also been producing. I would suggest that you bring a nine weight rod to fight the big ones. Come to Nassau soon and do so serious “catching”!
