As we get closer to November that means wahoo time! Right now they are here in small numbers, that’s a good sign. As we move into the season, the fronts are starting up, and although it’s not cold yet the fish are showing up. We are also catching mahi-mahi which are a little late in the season for them but we are not complaining. Trolling the ledge or drop-off is where to fish for best results. Anywhere from 150 to 300 feet, zig-zagging in and out at 8 to 10 knots. Ballyhoo and lures with weights or downriggers and planers, you can pick your preference to get the baits below the surface. So as we get down in the month of November, the wahoo should be here in great numbers and we are ready for them, so get on the Reel Deal in Nassau/Paradise Island and let’s get your trophy wahoo.
