Nassau Offshore Fishing Report and Forecast: June 2014

June means tuna, tuna and more tuna! And, with a few nice ones being caught already, it looks like they have already showed up.

Flocks of birds are in the area so it should make it easier to find them. You might have to go through a few of them until you find the ones that are biting the best. With blackfin and skipjack tunas in the mix, the bite should be good if they are not moving too fast. The bite should get better as we get closer to “official” tuna season. We are still catching some mahi and also billfish, so you have to be prepared as you never know what will show up.
