[dropcap]J[/dropcap]uly is here, the heat is on, and the tuna bite too. Skipjack, blackfin and yellowfin tuna are showing up pretty good now as we get deeper into the season. The morning bite has been pretty decent, but I like the afternoons better–as the sun goes down it seems the bigger ones like to come up to feed. The birds are the key in finding the tuna and there are a lot of them out there now. We are still catching a few nice mahi, and even marlin, so you have to be prepared for anything that shows up in your spread. You can use any lures and baits of your choice but ballyhoo works good and cedar plugs are a must to have in your tackle box.

So if you’re feeling the itch to pull in one these rod busters come on down to Nassau/Paradise Island on the Reel Deal and let’s cure it for you.
