WEEKLY OKEECHOBEE FISHING REPORT: Jan. 7 – 8

Gray skies and a chance of rain won’t stop this weekend’s fishing. The BFL Tournament is going out of C. Scott Driver this weekend and the King of the Glades is going out of Roland Martin’s on Sunday. Male bass have been steady in the beds and females are beginning to show up. These next few weeks should be good times for all local lakes. Jan 7th, 2016

WEEKLY OKEECHOBEE FISHING REPORT: Jan. 1-3

For the first time in many weeks, the wind is supposedly going to cooperate this weekend and provide some nice fishing conditions. Take advantage of it while you can for Speck fishing has turned up a notch and in Lake Okeechobee the bigger males are coming onto the beds. Jan 1st, 2016

Lake Okeechobee North End Fishing Report: Jan. 2016

The Big-O is in its fall pattern right now, but winter is right around the corner. Water temperatures have been in the high 70s and low 80s which are great temperatures for catching just about everything on this lake. Bass fishing has been very good with live shiners, but very tough with artificials.Dec 30th, 2015

Palm Beach Kayak Report: Jan. 2016

Pompano, bluefish, jacks and Spanish mackerel become more of the focus in January. I like to target areas near the inlets like the mouth of the Loxahatchee River in Jupiter and Sailfish Flats in Stuart. Dec 30th, 2015

Peace River – Port Charlotte Fishing Report: Jan. 2016

Well fellow anglers for me it’s time for long johns and jig heads, must be winter time. No the long johns are not some hot new secret lure. Their main function is to keep this Florida boy warm. To me there’s nothing I hate more than being cold while I am out fishing. Jig heads come into play for me during the colder winter months when shrimp become the bait of choice. Dec 30th, 2015

Fort Myers Fishing Report: Jan. 2016

Howdy boys and girls of the wonderful fishin’ world. Here we are in a brand new year with so many fish to look forward to. I can’t help but say see-ya, good bye, farewell, glad you’re outta here 2015! 2015 was a strange year, we started out thinking the Redfish had left Charlotte Harbor and then in August we had more Reds than any year I can remember.Dec 30th, 2015

Highlands Fishing Report: Jan. 2016

Bass fishing over the last few weeks of November and into the early days of December has not been without its challenges. For those of you who have been on the water, you’re all too aware of the windy conditions since mid-November. Dec 30th, 2015

Weekly Okeechobee Fishing Report: Dec. 25 – 27

This weekend should be a great weekend for fishing. With the weatherman predicting a long steady period of warm temperatures, the fish should have adjusted from last weekend’s cold snap and getting back into their pre-spawn and spawning cycles. Speck fishing has improved both in fishing duration and quality of fish taken.Dec 24th, 2015

Weekly Okeechobee Fishing Report: Dec. 18 – 20

Last week’s cool front produced good results in local Speck, bass and catfishing. This weekend’s cold front should lower water temperatures even further and entice Lake Okeechobee bass onto the beds. Dec 17th, 2015
