Taylor Guest caught this 45 lbs., 45” length, 30” girth Black Drum in Cat Island, MS.
We originally went to Cat Island to target seatrout, but saw this guy tailing in the shallows and couldn’t pass up the opportunity for an awesome fight and picture with this huge fish! This drum was caught on twelve lb. test with a Matrix Shad (Shrimp Creole) and a cast that put the lure right on it’s nose. It took about thirty minutes to get this guy in. Awesome catch and awesome day at the island.
