Tuppen’s Marine held a Pop Up Tournament out of the Palm Beach Yacht Center with a 100% payout, 50/30/20 split. It took place on the same day the Lake Worth Fishing Tournament was scheduled for, but unfortunately had been canceled due to Covid-19. The number of boats entered was small since it was a last minute plan as well as to take precautions against the spread of the virus, but it was a successful event none the less.
Lines were in at 6:30 am and the weigh in was at the Palm Beach Yacht Center between 1:00 and 3:30 pm.
The big winner was Neal O’Neil fishing on “Ricochet” catching a monster 73.4 pound wahoo, 2nd place was Fred Menor on “Soda Pops” with a nice 23.2 pound king, and 3rd place went to Mike Minia on “Chasin Shade” with a 20.4 pound kingfish.
There were additional bonus prizes if you placed & keep your boat at the Palm Beach Yacht Center, or if you purchased your boat or motors from Tuppen’s Marine. Also, random boat numbers were pulled and won gift cards!
