[dropcap]A[/dropcap]ugust is a time for change in the Bahamas. Fishing will be tough but fruitful if you stick with it. Cero mackerel will be running along with the lone dolphin, wahoo, tuna and marlin. Try anything and everything that you have learned in your fishing life. Go shallow and deep, watch for the birds and floating debris. We will be looking forward to September when the water will begin to cool and that will help the fishing. Always remember the “H” word. Check your five- and ten-day weather forecast before planning the trip over. Safety first will never let you down. Practice it on every fishing trip no matter how long or short.
Tight lines and smiles to all.
