To all my fellow anglers, August is here! For us down in Everglades City and the 10,000 Islands region, fishing is on fire! Big snook are still hanging around feeding just off of the beaches. Redfish are all over the place, as usual this time of the year. Seatrout are also pretty easy to target and catch this time of the year and they are always a fun and exciting fight. Permit, cobia, red grouper and tripletail are also all over any rocks or structure laying on or along the bottom, along the near shores of the gulf and along our southwest coast or shoreline of south Florida.
