Held on Saturday, November 7 and based out of Sailfish Marina in Stuart, Florida, 30 anglers comprised of men, women and junior anglers fished, releasing five sailfish and catching several gamefish to 25 pounds, including dolphin, kingfish and wahoo.
The Stuart Sailfish Club was formed more than 70 years ago and incorporated in January of 1941. It is one of the oldest sportfishing clubs in the United States, formed for the purpose of promoting the conservation of gamefish and encouraging visitors to fish in Martin County waters.
