BIMINI, BAHAMAS – Bimini Sands Resort & Marina has rolled out an incentive to make the short crossing from South Florida during the winter months when the Gulf Stream can be a little unpredictable, hard to say “no” to.
In the past when sea conditions were unfavorable, flying home and leaving your boat “stuck in paradise” could be a costly consequence. To help anglers avoid an unexpected extra dockage fee due to rough weather, Bimini Sands is offering guests who have paid for two consecutive days’ dockage in the marina, up to an additional five consecutive days’ free dockage until they can return to retrieve their boat.
“This winter, the fishing has been great around Bimini and there’ve been plenty of days when the conditions were perfect for anglers to run over here by boat from South Florida,” said Bimini Sands Owner and CEO Frank Cooney. “We want to give our guests the peace of mind of knowing if they come for a weekend and the forecast turns bad on Sunday, that they can leave their boat in our protected marina until the following Friday without racking up a huge bill.”
Bimini Sands Marina accommodates boats up to 100 feet in length on state-of-the-art floating docks. Amenities include Texaco gas and diesel, 30/50 amp shore power, on-site Customs, marina store with bait and ice, dockside restaurant, free WiFi, showers, laundry, tennis courts, swimming pool, and free bus service to the resorts’ Bimini Twist Restaurant and Mackey’s Sand Bar.
The “Stuck in Paradise” promotion is available through March 31, 2012. For more information, visit www.biminsands.com.
