[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Treasure Coast Builders Association’s 29th Annual Memorial Weekend Fishing Tournament promises to be one of the best ever! Pirates Cove Resort and Marina on the Manatee Pocket will host all of the tournament activities again this year. This year’s tournament Co-Chairman Julie Coker of Paradise Homes and Wendy Dittmar of Manning Building Supply and their committee are hard at work securing lots of great prizes that all of the participants have come to expect including a GM Silverado Crew Cab Truck valued at $35,000 sponsored by General Motors for the popular matching weight contest.
Friday night’s Captains Reception at Pirates Cove Resort and Marina on May 22nd starts at 6:00 p.m. and will feature silent and live auctions. There will be games for the kids, music, and chance tickets for a Barrel of Cheer with a chance to win a 2015 Harley Davidson sponsored by Paradise Homes and two “Big Green Egg” grills sponsored by S.P.S. The Builders Store. All grill ticket sales proceeds will be donated to the TCBA’s Charitable Fund for Future Builders of America programs. Tournament tee shirts will be available for sale, lots of complimentary appetizers from Pirates Loft and of course the great door prizes for the fishing teams.
The official weigh station opens on Saturday, May 23rd from noon to 4:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come down and hopefully see lots of record setting fish being weighed in.
The awards BBQ begins at 5:00 p.m. and tickets are available now for $15 for meal only or $20 for the meal and door prize opportunities! Don’t miss any of the fun at this annual event!
