[dropcap]A[/dropcap]tlantic Beach, NC – On June 13th, a total of 21 teams left the dock at first light in search of their two fish limit. Fishing conditions proved to be tough, but 14 teams brought fish to the scales at Chasin’ Tails Outdoors Bait and Tackle. The series hosted a captains meeting Friday night with food provided by Buffalo Wild Wings of Morehead City.
On Saturday, the crowd gathered to watch the live weigh-in at 4:00pm where Team Smokey Burnout -Tom Roller and John Hadley-weighed-in their impressive two fish aggregate of 13.30 lbs. to take the win. The win earned them $5,000. Coming in 2nd place for event 2 was Team Flatsmaster -Jacob Gainey and Jerry Burns-with 11.99 lbs, and 3rd place went to Team Trueline-Rick Patterson and John Hislop-with 11.59 lbs.

The next series event will be on August 8th. in Swansboro. The public is encouraged to attend the weigh-in LIVE. Festivities will start at 3:00pm at Old Town Square on the Swansboro waterfront. There will be fun for the entire family with music, giveaways, vendors, games, and a chance to meet teams and anglers.

Carolina Redfish Series
The Carolina Redfish Series is a four tournament series that takes place on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina, with a guaranteed 1st place of $5,000 for each event. Series teams will go head to head competing in three series events with the Top 10 Teams battling it out in the No Coast Championship for the title of Carolina Redfish Series Team of the Year. Event registration is $300, with optional TWT registration available at the Captains’ Meeting Friday evening of tournament weekend.
