WORKHORSE TEAM TOURNAMENT TRAIL | April 10, 2016
Venue: LAKE ISTOKPOGA
On April 10th the Workhorse Team Tournament Trail kicked off their 2016 season on Lake Istokpoga. Clear skies and windy conditions greeted the field making it tough to move around the lake. Few teams ventured towards the south end of the lake. The early morning bite was slow but by noon the bass were in a feeding mode. Many of the teams boated all their keepers after 12:30 pm.
Lake Istokpoga did not disappoint by producing some quality fish in the 5-7 lb range with the Big Fish weighing in at 8.5-lbs which will be submitted to the FWC Trophy Catch Program. The Workhorse Team Trail continues through Nov 2016 with bi- monthly tournaments on various Highland County lakes.
