Xtreme Bass Series | June 5, 2016
Venue: Lake Istokpoga
Due to our annual hurricane season, someone pulled the plug on Lake Istokpoga. The lake has dropped well over a foot since last month, causing the fish patterns to change. However, there were still impressive bag limits brought to the scales. Five teams brought 22-lbs or better to the scales. The 1st Place team of Dickie Gillispe and Brian Davito had a 5-fish limit of 27.08-lbs along with the Big Bass at 7.08-lbs. The 2nd Place team of Robert Brown and Larry Bush reeled in a 5-fish weight of 24.13-lbs while the 3rd Place team of Brad Day and Cody Craig brought a 5-fish limit of 22.40-lbs to the scales. With twenty-five teams competing, it was our best turnout of the season, a great day, a great time, and a great pay-out. It’s never too late to get involved in this trail.
Next Tournament will be July 3rd on Lake Istokpoga launching from Istokpoga Park off of Route 98 in Lorida, FL
- 1st Place: Jared McMillian & Durand Locke, 5-fish, 31.14 lbs
- 2nd Place: Ron Yentz & Steve Forcell, 5-fish, 27.00 lbs
- 3rd Place: Jeff Zablo & Joe LaManna, 5-fish, 24.52 lbs
- Big Fish: Josh Smith & Chris Smith, 9.21 lbs
