The increase in advertisers has allowed us to bring on Long islandâs own Tom Schlichter as a featured writer. This nationally recognized event, in memory of the late Steven James, will be a blast. From all of the great marine research benefits of the event, to the Bare Naked Ladies playing at the Newport Pier and the $20,000 purse it is worth the trip.
