The Lords of the Deep deep dropping tournament took place September 15-16 out of Nassau and was a huge success! Twelve boats entered and everyone seemed to catch lots of fish. The hot spots were Hole in the Wall in Abaco and the Berry Islands. Some anglers headed to the Exuma Sound and did quite well with snappers. The offshore fishing seemed to be slow, but there were boats that saw quite a few pelagic fish during the tournament. Offshore fishing should improve over the next month.
