Bimini Dive Forecast – September 2011

Bimini Dive Forecast - September 2011
September is a great month for observing the wild dolphins.

September brings the warmest waters to Northern Bahamas and Bimini. We expect great fun and crowds of visitors over the Labor Day weekend enjoying the long U.S. holiday. In addition to the diving opportunities, there will be numerous festivals and other forms of entertainment on island. The diving is clear, warm, and more often than not, flat calm on the reefs. We enjoy the last month or so of T-shirt diving during September. After Labor Day, the island is a bit quieter making for a great time to come dive with un-crowded boats and reefs. It is much more laid back and unhurried. September is also a great month to participate in our Wild Dolphin Encounter, as the weather is often perfect for observing these magnificent creatures.

With the Biminis so close to the South Florida mainland, it is literally a hop, skip and jump to reach this diving mecca. There are numerous charter, charter on demand as well as regularly scheduled and convenient flights to Bimini. If you have not yet been to Bimini now is the time to discover this little slice of island paradise.
