There is no question that wahoo have invaded the offshore waters of the Bahamas. Photo after photo are showing some monster wahoo being caught from Grand Bahama in the north to Long Island and San Salvador in the south. Many fish are in the 80- to 90-pound range and a few rumored to have topped 100-pounds. Bimini is definitely enjoying a hot wahoo bite. As our December magazine went to press, Bimini Big Game Club’s Wahoo Smackdown V had just gotten underway with a record field of anglers participating. Details to come!!
