The nearshore fishing is outstanding with the flies right now. Caroline Smith landed her biggest catch to date and on a fly rod. Getting the fish in a frenzy on the surface with a few handfuls of menhaden is not difficult. When they get in that mode a popper works great, as Caroline shows off a nice fish.
