The post-Irma conditions in Wiggins Pass, New Pass and Big Carlos appear to be in pretty good condition,
The following three photos were taken by the Estuary Conservation Association, Inc. on the morning of November 27th at about a +1.0 tide with light winds out of the east.
At Wiggins, the marked channel generally reflects the best water in the pass. A dredge is scheduled to begin in January which will enhance safe navigation at Wiggins.
At New Pass, conditions as of November 27th were also generally favorable.
At Big Carlos Pass, conditions as of November 27th also look good with the channel into the Gulf well defined.
Safe Boating!
