[dropcap]W[/dropcap]ell it’s time to be ready for anything! It’s a transition period and it seems to have arrived early, so all the guests will be here, but will you? There’s not much to tell you about this month, other than “Run what u brung”, and hold on tight! Mahi to 30-plus-pounds, tuna have been small, but the bigger fish are just getting here. And, marlin have been here for several weeks.

Deep dropping will be strong as usual anywhere from 500 to 1200 feet. Barracuda will work as bait if squid is not available. Grouper season is open, there is a five-pound limit on size, so no shorties please.

Tight lines!
